We are your new healthy eating BFFs!

It’s hard to eat healthy, especially when you’re busy and on a budget. We get it.

Our names are Christina and Taylor, and we are University students taking a full course load, working part-time, and trying to stay healthy on top of it all!

We’ve found it’s difficult to eat healthy when you have little time, especially since healthy prepared food is SO expensive. And chocolate and pasta taste so good.

But our health has become important to us. Modern society is full of unhealthy options, leading to scary things like news articles about sugar addiction and nations with an “obesity epidemic” that we can no longer afford to ignore. So for the past year we’ve been on a mission to do better, fresher, and healthier, bite by bite.

We’ve learned some tips and tricks on how to prepare healthy food quickly that tastes pretty great. That’s why we’re excited to share our recipes and ideas with you on this blog!

Christina is a plant loving vegetarian, while Taylor finds balance in being an omnivore, so we’ve got something for everyone! We are all about trying new things, making healthy food fun, and never, ever, getting hangry.

We try to be as inclusive as possible with our recipes. There is so much food advice out there, and it can be difficult to know which advice to follow. We don’t believe in any extremes or hard and fast rules, but instead try to use as much local, fresh, and plant-based foods in our recipes and creations as possible!

Our mission is to create the healthiest recipes we can, while still being realistic about time, cost, and taste.
